BioDetect Solutions was pleased to take part in NetHub | Healthtech Adria Conference, an event bringing together innovators, entrepreneurs, and professionals working to advance healthcare through technology and innovation. The event provided a valuable opportunity to present VirusHunter, our innovative virus detection project supported through the DIGIT Project.

BioDetect Solutions was pleased to take part in NetHub | Healthtech Adria Conference, an event bringing together innovators, entrepreneurs, and professionals working to advance healthcare through technology and innovation. The event provided a valuable opportunity to present VirusHunter, our innovative virus detection project supported through the DIGIT Project.
PRESENTING VIRUSHUNTER
Representing BioDetect Solutions, our co-founder Andreja Ambriović-Ristov presented the vision behind VirusHunter and its potential to contribute to more comprehensive and adaptable approaches to virus detection. Developed around an innovative technology originating at the Ruđer Bošković Institute, VirusHunter aims to address some of the challenges associated with conventional virus detection methods, particularly the need to detect only potentially pathogenic viruses.
Our vision is to develop a versatile platform capable of detecting a broad range of viruses in a single test, offering a more adaptable approach to viral diagnostics and research. By moving beyond methods that rely exclusively on detecting known viral sequences, VirusHunter aims to support research and preparedness in a field where viral diversity and the emergence of new pathogens continue to present significant challenges.
